Hey guys, new announcement today concering the books I'm working on for the upcoming DC event, Convergence. I'm doing a 2part story set in the Legion of Superheros world, accompanied by the current EGOs lineup of Stuart Moore (words) and John Rauch (color).  Link to the Nerdist article here.

NYCC 2014!

Hey peeps, little NYComicCon news, circa 2014. I'll be manning an artist alley table with Stuart Moore where we'll be selling prints, Egos Trade Paperbacks aaaannnd an exclusive EGOs minicomic for all you diehards out there. Artists alley, # B3, check it out.

Next in my impromptu series of SpaceCreep singles, this time of pirate king/bon vivant Bone Daddy: King of the Skull Eaters. He’s featured here with his captain-deputy Black Horus, who’s general build and aspect may give a hint as to his primary utility.
P.S. EGOs #4 releases on the 30th, of course again written by Stuart Moore, drawn by muah and colored, for the first time, by the spectacularly talented John Rauch. Whoop and all that.

Hello fair viewers! Been gone for a bit but here's a line portrait of a character central in the next section of SpaceCreep, which I have recently been able restart. His name is KyinPo Corpsculum and he's got a taste for the finer things.

Hellooo creampuffs, welcome back. So Egos #2 is out, I'm sure you're all on your 3rd read-through (at least) and need another fresh hit of that Gussy goodness. Well you got it. Today I'm posting a lil' pic I did for a new zine coming out called Creepy Thread. It's put together by two of my favorite people: the art-freakin', horror-luvin' power couple of Jensine Eckwall and Peter Scmidt.


Their zine examines internet specific horror shorts (or something, I can't parse all the web-based new-speak) but I instead chose to illustrate one of my favorite horror-lit phenoms: The Black Crown Project. I can't reccomend enough that you go read/play this thing immediately. It's a story, see? But it's also a game and like this strange marriage of W. Burroughs, new media and the New Weird all framed in a Choose Your Own Adventure style click-through mechanic. It's actually impossible to describe, just follow the link below. Do yourself a favor, for once.

Hello bloggonites, new transmission from the Mother Ship. Stuart and I have another signing, this time for EGOs #2, at the venerable comic institution Forbidden Planet. We had a great time at the last one so if you like comics, scifi or just good ole fashioned japery, scoot your but down to 832 Broadway at 7pm on Feb. 12th. Whoowah.

End of an era...

Hey guys, long time no blog. I'm posting today some linework from the final issue of Twelve Reasons to Die, the GhostFace comic I was working on fer some months.

Also, as maybe a few of you know, the first issue of EGOs dropped last Wednesday. We were happy to see a distinctly positive reaction to the book along with crazy generous reviews; my thanks to all the supporters out there. Pick up a copy why'dontcha?

The Short Con...

Hellooo everybody, its the one week mark before EGOs drops and I thought I'd share the hitherto unseen cover variant for Issue #1. We see here Top Quark (a real villain type) who plays prominently into the first issue. Unfortunately, the cover is only been sold as an exclusive at ImageCon 2014 so it wont see wide distribution but hell, you can gorp at it here. Huzzah!
